• Enjoy a Taste of Woodstock on January 16th

One of the best parts about living in an intimate community like Woodstock is that it seems there is always some sort of unique event going on, like  a concert in the town square, farmer’s market, holiday festival or parade. By regularly participating in these events, you’ll get to know many other Woodstock residents as well as make a name for yourself. And, before you know it, you are greeted by name everywhere you go. And you can get this small-town feel only 30 miles north of Atlanta – it’s pretty amazing.

Well, this weekend is a perfect opportunity to attend one of these local events to help meet some of your neighbors and, even better, by attending Saturday’s event,  you’ll be supporting Woodstock High School students. On Saturday, January 16th, the Woodstock High School cafeteria will host “Taste of Woodstock” to benefit the school’s Indoor Drumline & Winter Guard. The event will take place from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and it’s only $10 for adults and only $5 for kids 10 & under. 19 local restaurants are participating, which means you can sample the cuisine from places like:

    • Canyon’s Burger Company
    • Five Guys
    • Izumi Asian Bistro
    • Pure Taqueria
    • Zucca
    • Brusters
    • Kani Hous
    • And many more!

In addition to the scrumptious food, attendees can try to win door prizes and raffles. You can buy tickets at the door or get them by calling 404-697-5211.

Remember, Woodstock High School is the school that students living in LakeStone will attend. LakeStone is Sharp Residential’s new home community located directly off of Highway 92. These Cherokee County new homes are priced from the $200’s and feature lakefront living in this quaint, small-town suburb of Atlanta that has so much to offer.
