With 30 degree weather plaguing the city, it is hard to even comprehend that spring and summer aren’t too far in the future, but we’ve got some great news that will help you start thinking warm and get you geared up for the upcoming summer months. Every year starting in May, Downtown Woodstock hosts a free summer concert series. All concerts are held on a Saturday evening and begin at 7:30 p.m.; however, it is highly recommended to get there early if you want a good seat. You can bring coolers, food, chairs, blankets and more. In addition, there will be food vendors on site and games held to keep the children occupied while you wait for the band to start. Really, there is hardly a better way to spend a summer evening.
