• Celebrate 4th of July at a 2-Day Festival

Cumming’s 4th of July celebration is so big, they need two days to host it! The festivities kick off Friday, July 2nd at the Cumming Fairgrounds and culminate Saturday afternoon with a parade.

Guests are encouraged to bring blankets to sit on the lawn Friday night and enjoy the live music, fireworks and all ages dance competition. Lending to the festival atmosphere, food vendors will open at 6 p.m. Parking and admission to the event is completely free.

After Friday evening’s revelry, bring the family back out Saturday for Cumming’s patriotic 4th of July parade. Starting at 10 a.m. the parade route twists and turns ending up at the Cumming Fairgrounds.

The parade is led by the mayor and his council, followed by the community’s veterans. Then, in a tribute to the area’s agricultural history, a parade of steam engines and tractors travel by.

Residents of Sharp Residential’s Brandon Hall community in Cumming are just over five miles away from the Cumming Fairgrounds; easy access to the venue for both days of festivities! After the parade Saturday, homeowners can come home and cool off in the community pool, or watch their children play in the kid’s water park. If you’re interested in living in such a great, family-friendly location, visit Sharp Residential’s website.
