If you like ice cream (and who doesn’t?), you’ll be happy to know that the Vinings Historic Preservation Society is celebrating National Ice Cream Day on July 17. Bring your kids to the Old Pavilion on Paces Mill Road from 1:00 p.m. to 3 p.m. and enjoy one of the most popular events in Vinings!

Coldstone Creamery will be sponsoring the event and donating ice cream and toppings. St. Angelo’s Pizza will be bringing a face painter so that the little ones can celebrate with a bit of artistic flair. Enjoy freshly popped popcorn from The Vinings Rotary and home-baked cookies from Fidelity Bank. And to top it all off, Vinings resident Dean Morris will be bringing his famous hot fudge sauce made from a super secret recipe.

If you would like to attend the National Ice Cream Day event, admission is free for members of the Vinings Historic Preservation Society and children under 12. For everyone else, the cost is just $4.
